an Indian dinner

LUNCH --- steamed dumplings
AFTERNOON-TEATIME

DINNER --- ( at Francesca's ) cauliflower korma (cauliflower stew in thick sauce) | Manali aadoo daal (apricot chickpeas stew, from Manali on the Himalayas) | garlic chutney *(HOT garlic sauce)* | raita (cooling yogurt sauce) | naan | rice || German Mosel Riesling ( very fruity ) | Italian Oltrepo Pavese Riesling (drier, a little higher in alcohol, very aromatic )

  • Francesca started preparing spices in the morning, making dough and sauces in the afternoon, cooking the delicious dishes till the evening.
