a dinner that ends with homemade donuts

11-13-2014 Thu. chilly, drizzle.  


BREAKFAST --- coffee
LUNCH --- rice with kao-fu 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea
DINNER --- baked Japanese sweet potato fries | truffle & chicken liver pate with baguette | cava || shishito and baby zucchini tempura | roasted matsutake mushroom with dashi broth | baked delicata squash stuffed with seasoned cracked wheat, roasted red pepper, chorizo, shallots and herbs | broiled Iceland lamb shop with spice-rub and marinate | braised leek |wine || homemade donuts 










 
  • a special meal with Sonia, precious time 
  •  donuts turned out rather good, beginner's luck ?
