LUNCH --- ( at Grandma's ) octopus in ink sauce | salbutes of turkey,avocado, onion and black sauce | fried shrimp, corn tortilla 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME ---  mango | sweet bread |  tea
DINNER --- ( at Bravo Tapas ) tapas : chorizo stuffed mushroom | artichoke heart on toast | tomato soup | roasted spicy potatoes | Spanish tortilla | charred octopus | mojito














 
  • a hole in the wall,  tasty octopus in its ink, and cute salbutes 
  • tapas so-so, empty place.

DINNER --- ( cooked at Gion house) lightly marinated octopus salad |  stir-fried eggplant | stir-fried Roma green beans | nabe hot pot | sake | rice

  • very impressive castle, the inside space is  open and huge, with bird-chipping sound built in the floor in the corridors. 
  • vintage book store is full of big art volumes and specializing textile designs

DINNER --- mojito | cheese platter || pan fried octopus balls | steamed vegetable buns | ma-po tofu | sauteed pea leaves with garlic and roasted sesame seeds | red wine

  • a put-together small dish dinner for a hot evening

Baby octopus

AFTERNOON-TEATIME

DINNER --- sauteed shrimp and asparagus | curried Indian eggplant and flat-leaf chive | broiled baby octopus | avocado and Belgium endive salad | rice | beer




  • baby octopus is not that much bigger than shrimp, unique texture and flavor.
