BREAKFAST --- coffee | bread and cheese | watermelon
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea
DINNER --- guacamole and crackers | mojito | sauteed green beans with vegetable ragu | steamed and pan-fried Brussels sprouts | rice | salad | wine




  •  happened to be quite a green meal

WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | croissant | bread and blue cheese | watermelon  AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea | tea quail eggs | cherries | lychee 
DINNER ---  gazpacho | ceviche | broiled salmon with ginger sauce | boiled new potatoes | sauteed fresh corn with roasted red pepper | wine | raspberries with ice cream




  •   summer fruits in full swing, raspberries, blueberries, cherries, watermelon, white peaches, black plums, mango, and lychee.

DINNER --- creamy celery root and apple soup | okra tempura | pan-roasted pear with piquillo and pistachio sauce | sauteed green beans | rice | wine




  • some experiment on combination of fruits, vegetables and nuts.

Ratatouille

LUNCH --- steamed vegetable buns
AFTERNOON-TEATIME
--- plums
DINNER --- simmered silky tofu with cilantro, mushroom and minced chicken | ratatouille ( zucchini, carrots, shallots, tomato and herbs) | rice | fennel and radish salad | wine


  • loading with the last vegetables of the summer, they start fading away from farmer's markets.

DINNER --- ratatouille: onion,tomato,green and yellow zucchini,red pepper,carrot,Roma beans and oregano | sauteed young mustard green | sauteed oyster mushroom, pressed tofu skin and wood-ear with shiso | salad of lettuce and fennel | rice | wine





  • all fresh vegetables, very tasty ratatouille

DINNER --- sauteed onion, sweet corn, and jalapeno | steamed and pan-fried Brussels sprouts | soba noodles and manila clams with shiso leaves| lettuce, radish, cherry tomato salad | wine
