Meatball in "fried dough bubble"

12-06-2010 Mon. cold wind, sunny.

BREAKFAST
--- coffee
LUNCH --- rice with caramelized onion and carrots
AFTERNOON-TEATIME
--- Japanese green tea | clementine
DINNER --- tempura of fermented tofu with bonito dipping sauce | sauteed bitter melon and mushroom with fermented black bean | stewed chicken meatballs in "Shanghai-style fried dough bubble" with tomato and leek | rice | wine



  • The golden colored bubble is a Shanghai special, very airy and hollow inside, crispy shell. meatball is stuffed inside and stew makes the shell shrinks and wraps the meat ball like soft skin.
