WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee
BRUNCH --- ( in the tea house )   beer | German dry Riesling  | oysters with lemon  | gazpacho | tuna, cheese and roasted red pepper on crackers | green figs and jamon Serrano | zucchini "pasta" with pesto sauce | simmered baby squid stuffed with ginger scallion seasoned rice | ratatouille quiche | water melon cube with tomato "caviar" | green tea and preserved plums 
DINNER --- bread and cheese | water melon | tea 












 
  • a treat from bountiful summer vegetables and fruit, a celebration for family and friends Jan and Ed. 
  • the quiche is from Fresh Baguette,  our new favorite in local bakery

AFTERNOON-TEATIME ---  tea | grapes 
DINNER --- sauteed thin-sliced zucchini ribbon with Jamon Serrano | Spanish seasoned blood sausage Morcilla Onion |  pan-fried baby eggplants |  stewed potatoes with Chorizo Palacios | steamed and fried Brussels sprouts | salad | wine 














 
  • cured pork products from a local Spanish store. 
  • the new mandoline slicer did the job on zucchini and fennel. 
  • California wine grapes are small, dark and intensely sweet
