DINNER --- simmered short rib and rolled tofu skin with napa cabbage, noodles and cilantro |wine
- simmered several hours and got very tender meat, tofu skin rolls soaked in flavored broth.

DINNER --- sauteed fresh fennel and chive flowers | sauteed king mushroom | pan-fried tofu skin rolls with shiitake mushroom | rice | wine
- fennel and tofu skin somehow go pretty well together

DINNER --- hot pot ( green leaf vegetables, rolled tofu skin, frozen fermented tofu, fried tofu, lamb, needle mushroom, shiitake mushroom, wood-ear,dried shrimp), sha-cha and tahini dipping sauce | wine

the frozen slightly "stinky" tofu has pretty good sponge-like texture, absorbing hot-pot broth flavor well.
