sweet and tender new potatoes

6-20-2014 Fri. cool, cloudy.  


BREAKFAST --- coffee
LUNCH -- rice with fresh peas 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- apple
DINNER ---sauteed green beans and garlic scape | pan-fried lamb sausage | French green lentils with fresh peas, carrots and celery |  steamed new potatoes with dill and mustard | wine 









 
  • new potatoes has very smooth texture and sweet flavor, nothing like  mealy crumbly old ones from last year.
