host an eight course vegetarian dinner

BREAKFASTS--- coffee | scallion pancake | oats porridge | cheese and bread | fruits 
DINNERS ---  Chinese vegetables | Korean style short ribs | littleneck clams |  
VEGETARIAN DINNER for guests ( O. & F.) --- homemade tater tots | mushroom sweet rice shao mai | wine || mountain yam noodle knots , beech mushroom and celtuce in kombu broth | fried tofu pocket stuffed with Japanese sweet potato, pickled bamboo shoot and kimchi |  scrambled eggs with yellow chives | simmered kao-fu with wood ear,  tofu-skin rolls,  shiitake mushroom and dried day lily buds | Chinese water celery with bean curd | sake||  homemade double ginger cookies | rye || French chocolate cake | cognac
