Bloody clam ceviche and Kimchi Soojaebi

WEEKEND BREAKFAST ---  ( at Getty Center) coffee
LUNCH --- ( at La Cevicheria, LA ) peruano: red snapper ceviche with potatoes| concha negra: bloody clams ceviche with tomato salsa 
DINNER --- (at Korean House of Noodles, LA) Kimchi Soojaebi (수제비): house made soup dumpling noodles |  steamed dumplings

  • Getty Center sits impressively up on the hill,  the art collection is not as impressive. 
  • Latin American ceviches of rare bloody clams. not as delicious as in the lost memory of old Shanghai style liquor-marinated version. 
  • Korean soup dumpling noodles with pungent broth and chewy texture.

DINNER --- ( at Marilu's) Mexican banana chips with tomatillo salsa | passion fruit cocktail || Peruvian salmon marinated in citrus juice | Venezuelan pan-fried white corn pancake with shredded chicken and avocado ( Arepa) | Peruvian three milks cake | wine







  • Marilu ventures into New World cuisine. Arepa the white corn fried pancake is very good, freshly fried, assembled at the table with chicken and avocado, and cream chili sauces
