homemade Kamameshi

DINNER ---  homemade Kamameshi: vegetables, shiitake, eel | Japanese seaweed salad with daikon and cucumber

  • a new kamameshi pot has joined the family kitchen.  the first try follows dd's advice: homemade dashi, washed and soaked rice,  thinly cut vegetables and shiitake.   eel is pre-broiled and added on top.
