DINNER --- roasted beet and culture milk soup with cherries | Swedish cheese and leek puff | sauteed snap peas | salad | wine

one golden cherry tomato

LUNCH --- rice with green beans and bean sprouts 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- peach | cherries 
DINNER ---   burrata, tomato and homemade pub onions |new potatoes with rosemary | sauteed snap peas | sauteed mustard greens | salad | wine

feel the spring

4-20-2014 Sun. mild, sunny. 



WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee  | bread and cheese | scallion pancake | scrambled eggs | grapes | strawberry and mango salad 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- beer in the garden  
DINNER --- lettuce salad with fresh mozzarella, radish, and mango |  sauteed baby artichokes with roasted red pepper sauce | stir-fried mushroom and snap peas | cocktail shrimp with sea beans |  rice | wine 

















 
  •  sea beans are like sea-salt-pickled vegetable, with a taste of ocean.

scalloped potatoes

9-15-2012 Sat. warm, sunny.  


WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | coconut cream bread | honeydew and apple | scallion pancake 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea 
DINNER --- pan-roasted scalloped potato with tomato and rosemary | sauteed asparagus | sauteed snap peas | broiled salmon with ginger and scallion sauce | avocado and lettuce salad | mojito 



 
  • scalloped potato turns out pretty well recently, in oven or on stove top. 
  • too much liquid sauce for salmon this time changed the texture.
