DINNER --- curried cauliflowers | soy braised kao-fu, bamboo shoots, wood-ear, brown mushroom and carrots | sauteed mustard greens | rice | wine 


 
  • adding homemade tomato sauce to the kao-fu pot, the flavor is intensified.

  • a little variation on the wheat gluten dish: saute minced onion and one tbs tomato paste in oil first, then add wheat gluten Kao-fu cubes to fry for a couple of minutes to absorb the flavor.
