Kao-fu, Shanghai style

9-10-2012 Mon. warm, sunny.  


BREAKFAST --- coffee
LUNCH --- rice with salmon and sauteed string beans 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- apple 
DINNER --- Shanghai-style stew of kao-fu ( wheat gluten tofu ), wood-ear, lily buds with peanuts |  parboiled baby spinach | stir-fried bitter melon | rice | fennel and cherry tomato salad | wine 


 
  • used a little bacon in the kao-fu stew.
