along the Spanish Atalantic coast

BREAKFAST --- (at Saiaz Geteria) coffee | bread and butter | jamon Iberico | local cheese | orange juice
LUNCH --- ( at Mirador de Toro in Llanes ) grilled spicy octopus with potato | salted cod with vegetables and fried eggs
DINNER
--- (at Mayflower in Gateria harbor) salad of white asparagus | stewed piquillo peppers | clams in wine and garlic broth | char-grilled Mediterranean sea bass | red wine from Rioja region

  • along the misty and green coast, more seafood, outdoor char-grilling is very common. the cooking style encountered today is quite the opposite of "refined", more traditional, large quantity of food and large amount of olive oil.
