DINNER --- ( for O. & F.)  cava | rice crackers with seaweed | mixed roasted nuts | steamed adamame shao-mai | skewers of ginkgo seeds, negi, green chili, radish and smoked bean curd || sake |   butternut squash and apple soup | homemade bread with eggplant relish | braised mini king mushroom and pan-fried lotus root | parboiled Chinese greens | lightly pickled cucumber | simmered kao-fu and chestnut with roasted red pepper | Korean hot tofu stew with vegetables || cognac | berry and chocolate cakes
