garden day

5-26-2013 Sun. warm, sunny.  


WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- ( at  Dumpling House )  Northern Chinese style dumplings:  pork with lightly fermented cabbage, lamb with carrots | silken tofu porridge | grilled spicy lamb skewers 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- coffee 
DINNER --- stir-fried pork kidney with Chinese flat-leaf chives and spring bamboo shoots | pan-fried baby artichokes with citrus dipping sauce | miso marinated and pan-fried mackerel | bread | wine
