One pot stews everything

2-08-2010 Mon. cold, sunny

BREAKFAST --- coffee | toasted Limpa bread with chocolate spread
LUNCH --- pan-fried dumplings | apple
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- Chai | baked cranberry lace crackers | roasted pumpkin seeds
DINNER --- ten-in-one-pot: Shanghai style stew of rice cake, napa cabbage, smoked tofu, shiitake, lotus root, dried shrimp, smoked mussels, vegetable pickles and green onions (shi jin sha guo) | red wine


  • still stuck at home because of the snow storm, had more time in the kitchen cutting and cooking.
