the Winter's tale

2-27-2010 Sat. mild, full moon

WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | coconut cream bread | grape fruit | scallion pancake
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- Tiantai Mountain green tea | roasted ginkgo nuts
DINNER --- sauteed winter green Swiss chard | winter's treasure: sauteed snow peas, winter bamboo shoots, shiitake and ginkgo nuts | stuffed red snapper with ginger and scallion sauce | rice | white wine


  • the winter's tale is still going on, but near the end. Winter bamboo shoots and ginkgo nuts are at the end of the season.
