Shabu-shabu

2-09-2010 Tue. cold, cloudy turned snow

LATE-MORNING BREAKFAST --- coffee | steamed Boston brown bread | Pyrenees sheep cheese
AFTERNOON-TEATIME ---wulong green tea | apple
DINNER --- steamed open-face dumplings with seasoned rice fillings (Shanghai shao-mai) | hot pot of thin-sliced lamb, shiitake, button mushrooms, Chinese winter greens, shrimp, and mung bean noodles with sha-cha dipping sauce (Shabu-shabu) | red wine


  • The hot pot cheered us up on a gloomy Tuesday.
