back to cooking

10-10-2013 Thu. cool, rain.  


BREAKFAST --- coffee
LUNCH --- ( at WMO) sandwich 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME ---  tea 
DINNER --- baked Japanese sweet potato fries | pan-fried gyoza | seaweed and rice crackers ||  grilled matsutake with dashi broth | roasted shishito with seven-spice | grilled sea scallops with sauteed three-pepper three-mushroom ( shishito, orange pepper and roasted red pepper,  hen in the woods, shiitake, and beech mushroom) | poached baby spinach and tomato | quabili pilau ( Afghan baked rice with wine braised lamb shank, carrots and raisin ) | wine 





  • a good meal for friends coming to town, in a good season.
