Gigante beans and Chorizo

8-19-2012 Sun. cool, rain.  


WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | bread and hummus | scallion pancake | water melon | cherries | champagne grapes 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea 
DINNER --- fish  soup  with tofu and yam noddles | steamed eggplant with pickled chili sauce | stew of giant white beans and Spanish chorizo | lightly pickled cucumber | rice | fennel and cherry tomato salad | wine 







 
  • totally different sky from yesterday.  call for hearty beans and sausages. Gigante beans need to be soaked for a day and simmered for 2 hours.
