a birthday dinner

8-11-2012 Sat. hot, clouds.  


WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | baguette | brie and blue cheese | lachsschinken | water melon | peach and blue berries 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- tea | pan-fried gyoza with dashi dipping sauce
DINNER --- fusilli with fresh pesto sauce, snow peas, red onion, marinated giant white beans and smoked mussels | seared frozen steak , with fresh mission fig and dijion mustard sauce | sauteed fresh fava beans | sauteed fresh sweet corn with roasted red pepper | wine | Grand Marnier orange liqueur cake
