hot Chorizo, cool Pesto

8-14-2012 Tue. warm, some rain.


BREAKFAST --- coffee
LUNCH --- rice with green beans 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- cherries
DINNER --- pasta with pesto sauce, black olives and lightly pickled cucumber | parboiled baby spinach | new potatoes with Spanish chorizo | steamed eggplant | fennel and cherry tomato salad | wine 



 
  • chorizo potato and pesto pasta sets a nice contrast in color and in flavor
