okra stew and semolina bread

8-10-2013 Sat. hot, sunny.  


WEEKEND BREAKFAST --- coffee | croissant | bread and cheese | watermelon | blueberries | champagne grapes 
AFTERNOON-TEATIME --- lychee | tea 
DINNER ---  bamya : Mediterranean-style stew of okra, eggplant and lotus root in fresh tomato sauce | stir-fried pork kidney and banana pepper | homemade semolina bread | salad | wine 












 




  •  first try on both bamya stew and quick stir-fried kidney. 
  • semolina bread is  smooth and dense, works well with stew dish
